It has all the tools in the kit, so you have to buy it. You know its good when the tool kit has the light bulbs and the pliers. Plus the owner has a folder with labeled BMW 633csi. Besides him, I’m the only person who has a folder with the all the reciepts I dumped into it.

I have folders for all my cars too. I even have the business card of the original salesman of the 1980 pickup I acquired. Oddly enough the two best cars I’ve ever owned came with zero service records...

Pet the Dog. You have too much to lose for a BMW.

Guilty...I have folders for both cars, as well as spreadsheets. I also have the Monroney stickers and dealers brochures. No, I’m not obsessive - am I? :)

Saw one in black Saturday, it was nice. I also saw an old Chevy C10 on Toyota 4(8?) spoke wheels, and a fintail Mercedes in the next yard.

You have to buy it when someone takes that much care of it you just have to buy it

If you ever buy another with no records if they were the sort to have it serviced at a big dealership or maybe even if you just know what shop they used(assuming they don’t diy it) you can call in with the VIN and they’ll send you all the records. The last car I bought had zero records but I took the gamble on it. They claimed all the maintenance had been done at the big local BMW dealership, I called in to see if I could get some records because I wanted to definitively know what mileage certain things had been replaced(It’s an E36 so you have to be anal about the bloody cooling system). Getting a huge stack of paperwork showing that they weren’t lying about maintaining it before recommended intervals restored my faith in humanity a bit.

I always find that the little screwdriver is the first thing to go missing.
Also, I have folders for all my cars.

Wow. I just know when I sell my M3 I’m going to immediately go looking for an older, cheaper BMW, because I have a sickness... this would be a great candidate.
